President of WSQ, Paul Travis has spearheaded transformative real estate projects throughout his career, including the redevelopment of Moynihan Station, the New York Historical Society, the 42nd Street / Times Square Revitalization, and the development of City Point in Downtown Brooklyn, the largest mixed-use development in Brooklyn. Mr. Travis is a partner in City Point, and Kingsbridge Associates, which owns and operates The Shops at Marble Hill, a groundbreaking commercial development in the Bronx.
Before establishing WSQ, Mr. Travis was Chief Operating Office at Forest City Ratner Companies, overseeing the development of MetroTech Center, a 4.5 million-square-foot complex in Downtown Brooklyn, Loews Miami Beach, (the first convention center hotel in Miami Beach), and the revival of Miami’s Lincoln Road commercial district. At the NYC Economic Development Corporation, he directed the revitalization of 42nd Street/Times Square and oversaw large commercial and industrial development projects, including the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.
Mr. Travis is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Chair of the Planning Commission for the Village of Southampton, and Board Member of the Southampton Arts Center.
